I’m honoured to share a project very close to my heart — a body of work created in collaboration with MacIntyre Charity’s Our Voice Through a Lens exhibition 2025. This series was commissioned to reflect the rich, imaginative and deeply personal stories of people supported by MacIntyre — each image shaped around the essence of who they are, beyond the familiar portraiture you might expect.

 

MacIntyre’s “Our Voice” initiative is about listening, connection and creative expression — exploring what matters most to individuals whose voices aren’t always heard in words alone. Rather than traditional portraits, this work uses visual metaphor and narrative imagery to give space and presence to each person’s world and passions.

 

For over 25 years I’ve been drawn to projects that unfold truth, equality, unity and gratitude — images that stand for something deeper than a moment in time. This collaboration brought those themes into sharp focus, inviting me to work with remarkable people, their families and supporters to translate lives into visuals that resonate with feeling, movement and imagination.
